Listings

When being in page mode, press CTRL+ENTER to activate the browser or click on the table symbol in the toolbar. You can configure the browser according to your needs / liking. All columns can be replaced, resized and every column is sortable by clicking on the column header. Add or delete columns, rename them - as you like. The browser is configured for each user. It's setting is saved for each user. The user is determined by it's Login Name, which not needs to be the same than the SQL user.

Sorting the browser

To sort the list simply click on the column's header you want the list to be sorted by. A shadowed arrow head (up or down) show the sort order. To change the order, click again on the same header. The sort order is not saved. When calling again the same list, set the desired sort order again.

Multilevel Sorting

With some listings it might become necessary to sort by more than one criteria. Let's assume you browse all bought articles from one customer and your goal is to get the list sorted by article number and subsequently by date. Open the module "Addresses", enter the respective Match of the client, press CTRL+I (or click on the " I " in the navigator bar) for the InfoSystem. From the tree select Articles/Bought/by Date. Choose the desired period of time  - the browser will show the corresponding data unsorted.  To sort, proceed as follows:

  • First click on the column header "Date"
  • Next click on the column header "Article Number"

The list shown is sorted basically by Article Number and additionally by date per article, thus returning the intended format. You can add further levels of sorting by clicking on the available column header. Keep in mind that the last chosen header represents the main sort order. (In the example above - the article number).

The data is specifically formatted for the use in EXCEL®, including the field separators.  Other means of exporting your data are described under „Data Exchange“ in the User's handbook.

Save as Default

Every browser is saved for every user in the network. If a new user logs in, standard browsers are assigned. These default browser are created, when installing the software for the first time. Using this function you can replace the default browser. This does not affect existing browsers for other users.

Change Column Title

Every header can be individually changed.

Print Browser

This function prints the entire browser, using the Windows® default printer settings, incl. the header line. The column width is recalculated to fit the data. Therefore the print out may vary from the optical appearance.
