Geographic Search (GIS)

While installing EULANDA® ERP some 40.000 geographical coordinates are installed in the database. These contain the city names, corresponding ZIP codes, longitudes and latitudes.  (Germany only - other countries will follow)

Using the Properties - static or dynamical - in the addresses' s basic data, you can view the regional proximity to the selected address.

This is can be handy, when searching for a dealer in the vicinity of a certain client or when planning the sales agents tour of visiting his clients.

Since this search can use dynamical properties as well you can create a property filtering your clients to those with a total turnover of more than € 10.000 and have the selection displayed geographical wise. Other relation can be created, according to your necessities.

An active sample can be found on our webpage - Search authorized dealers. The selection returned represent available dealers according to turnover and visited training courses.

GEO-Search

The procedure is pretty simple. Call the address, tag the desired property and select from the right mouse menu the geographical search.

The map is shown and the ZIP code of the selected address. Hit ENTER and all other addresses of that region and according to the filter set in the vicinity are shown. The sorting is according to the range of the vicinity.

You may set a filter to show the distribution of addresses to control the evenness of advertising etc. (provided you have connected respective information).

To add further countries, we need the longitude and latitude with the respective ZIP codes. If you are interested, please contact our sales department.
