Article - Entry screen

EULANDA® supports your data search with many Search methods and options. The entry masks (system wide) are in search mode when opened. You can search in any field and for the contents of any field. Enter the search criteria and hit the ENTER key to start the search. You can search from the field beginning, the end of a field or a specific position in the field or string, or start a full text search in one field or the entire data set. In addition you can combine fields using logical operators and with the help of the Properties tree you can further fine tune your search or exclude certain areas from  a search. In conjunction with mail merge and data export you can specify the data to use, with the help of the Data selection dialogue.

The database returns the result set based on the query submitted. Use the Navigation to page thru the data or jump to the first or last data record. Click on the plus symbol to add a new record (alternatively press CTRL+N)

The number of data records in a result set are called Hits. The number of records shown, is limited to 100 as per default. You can override that default at any time if needed. Click on the Hits, in the lower left hand corner and select the number to be shown. Keep in mind, that the amount of data returned from a query, depends on the accuracy of your search. In case too many records are returned, redefine your search. You can use logical operators like AND or OR. Click on "Fields" and select one of the available operators to launch a combined search.

A special way of searching data is provided with the GEO-Search. Based on the ZIP codes of your addresses, it returns a geographical map showing where your client's businesses are based, how far the next branch office is away or simply which hotel is in the vicinity. For the time being this is limited to Germany only (other countries will follow). To activate this search, open the properties tree (click on the module name in the upper left hand corner - in the Info Bar an right click on a properties entry. Select the corresponding entry.

The more important information of each module can be found on the first tab. Extended information is stored on a subsequent tab. Click with your mouse on the respective tab to activate.

Along with the representation of the data in the entry screen, you can view the data in list from using the Browser. Being in page mode, click on the corresponding icon in the navigation bar.

Aside the many mouse functions available, you can operate the EULANDA® ERP using the keyboard. Normal operation as create proposals, orders and many more can be done using the keyboard

Complex screens like the order management are nested - have various levels. Check the Action Path to quickly find your current status.

Additional information on the individual modules can be obtained from the "EXTRA" menu. The InfoSystem provides information regarding the current data record - e.g. connected data records, statistics, history etc. Click on the "I" in the navigation bar. The symbol has two levels, one calls the dataset related InfoSystem, the other calls the general InfoSystem, returning information regarding ALL data of the corresponding module. The InfoSystem provides a "View" of your data from a given perspective - Calling the InfoSystem from the articles and find information of eg. who bought which article whereas the InfoSystem from the addresses returns information of what address bought which article etc. The same applies to the available InfoSystem in the order management (Information from the order's point of view), Invoices etc.

Jumping from one module to another is done using hyperlinks. When moving over the fieldnames shown they will appear as underlined. Click on them and you jump to the corresponding module. E.g. in the order's head data, move the mouse over the fieldname "Match" and left click on it - you'll jump to the address basic data. The same applies to many other fields as well. Another form of linking can be found when clicking on the little figure symbol. The drop down shows all other links corresponding to the current data set e.g. when called from the order's management of a complete order, it shows connected delivery notes, invoices, store movements etc. The information provided depends on the calling module.

Reusable text - so called boilerplates - can be assigned to keyboard shortcuts.
