The calculator is available through out the main program either by selecting it from the Extra-menu or simply pressing the function key "F6". It provides powerful functions.
When called it hovers over the current field. It covers the field but you can load the field's value in to the calculator, by pressing "F6" again.
You can load values from any field in the table as reference, thus creating reusable, complex calculation.

Loads any field value as reference
For example, you can save often use formulas to the clipboard and reuse them with different articles, like a template.
Not only numbers can be added, but text also.

Combine texts. using the calculator
Combining text fields with an empty space between them, use the Plus sign and add the space between two single apostrophes.
To copy the result of your calculation to the calling field, simply press CTRL+F6.

Press ESC to exit - no changes are saved to the calling field.
The history of the current calculations can be activated by pressing CTRL+Arrow+Up and deactivate pressing the same keyboard shortcut again. Alternatively you can use CTRL+Arrow+Down to deactivate.

History of the last calculation
In the upper left corner you'll find the history - like the old fashioned paper journal stripe. Using CTRL+Arrow+Up you can access any of the list; pressing ENTER will load the intermediate result in the active part of the calculator.
In the right part of the window, you'll find the variables. You can create your own variables, using the " = " to assign a formular.
Room=4.3*4.65
This creates a variable with the value of 19.995 and can be used in the current calculation, thus allowing to calculate as shown below
2*Room
The calculator provides other, very powerful and complex functions, like those already described in the chapter Calc Sheet. Internally the calculator is based on a JavaScript engine, allowing to merge JScript functions with standard ones.
