Overview

To uninstall the EULANDA® ERP multilevel system, several steps are required.

  1. Preparations
  2. Delete main program
  3. Possibly uninstall the SQL Server
  4. Delete EULANDA® ERP file folder incl. all subfolders
  5. Possibly delete the SQL Server folder incl. subfolders

Preparations

Stop using the application on ALL workstations. The program can not be deleted, if any PC still uses the EULANDA® ERP, because there is still an active connection to the database server and / or program.

Delete the main program

Go to system properties and then to Software. Select EULANDA® ERP and click the button "Add/Remove". The program will be removed. Repeat this step for each workstation where the software is installed.

Remove database and / or SQL Server

Depending of the type of installation, only parts of this description applies; either delete a database or completely uninstall the entire SQL Server. On a real NT Server network together with the EULANDA® ERP Client / Server version, a complete SQL Server is installed. In this case only the database will be removed. In all other cases, hence Single User version or Peer2Peer networks, the MSDE (Microsoft® SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine, supplied with an original EULANDA® ERP Product) will be removed. This action is mandatory, since the use of the MSDE is linked to an EULANDA® ERP installation (License) and has to be removed together with the main product.

Remove the database

SQL-Server Full Version

In case the Microsoft® SQL Server 2000 Standard or Enterprise Version is installed, only the database has to be removed.

Open the Enterprise Manager (Start - Program Files/Microsoft SQL Server/Enterprise Manager). Expand the Servers. Select the corresponding server and expand the tree. Expand "Databases" and right click the corresponding database. Select "Delete" from the menu. The database will be removed.

MSDE - Microsoft® SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (supplied version)

If you are using the supplied SQL Server, the database will be deleted when uninstalling the server. Subsequently deleting the file folder takes care of the rest.

Delete the supplied SQL-Servers

Open the System properties, select "Software" and click on "SQL Server". Check the button "Add / Remove". After completing the process, the system has to be restarted.

Delete the EULANDA® Folders

Once completed the steps above described, delete the folders in which the EULANDA were installed. This is per default "c:\program files\cn software gmbh\cn eulanda\". Open your file explorer and go to "c:\program files\cn software gmbh\cn eulanda\". Right click on "cn eulanda" and select "delete".

Delete the SQL-Server Folders

If you want to delete the folder of an already uninstalled SQL Server, open your file explorer and expand the node "c:\program files\microsoft SQL Server" Right click the folder and select "delete". Do not delete this folder, if the SQL Server was not removed correctly. In this folder all EULANDA® ERP database files are stored. When deleting this folder, all databases (files) for use with the EULANDA® ERP software will be removed.
