EULANDA® ERP System Head Start thru Technology
These projects are done by 0% to 17%.
The translation kit is based on the program “Multilizer” a very sophisticated and highly professional translation system. This kit is provided with a special Sub Licence including the EULANDA® language source code at no charge, as long as the copy right of the translated material is handed over to CN Software. The translator / distributor will be offered a Sales Licence as dealer / distributor for the EULANDA® ERP system in her / his country.
The last point is the most ambitious one and will still require 1 to 2 years software development to achieve the essential cultural settings for the base countries. All other categories can be archived by simply translating the software.
Hardware: min. 380 MB RAM, min 1 GHz CPU
After the basic installation und the initial start of the software, it is
configured with little effort. Right mouse click over the right window pane
and select “Filter …” Click on the “Data Types” Tab and deselect all but
“Strings”. Switch to “Others” and select the middle option “Translateable
only”.
On the left tree of the main window are two areas – “Forms” and “Strings”.
Below “Forms” all display masks are located and extending strings will list
all other texts of the program.
Select the required language to translate into by clicking the appropriate
button on the toolbar e.g. “French”. All non-grey lines are to translate.
As reference you may show any additional languages. The language marked
“native” is the one used in the original version of the program. This is a
mix of various languages used by the software developers of CN Software
GmbH.
On the bottom of the display you find the tabs “LOG”, “Validate”,
“Statistics” and “Nodeinfo”.
“Statistics” shows the progression of the work, “Validate” can be used to
start one of the many checks build into the translation kit.
Spaces are shown as points on a centre line. Fields with leading or closing
spaces should be translated as such.
Variables are shown as placeholders using either %s or %d. Whereby %s are
texts and %d are placeholders for numbers. The numbers of placeholders have
to be the same in the translated and original text.
The path to the translation file “EULANDA.MPR” is “C:\Programme\Multilizer\Eulanda\”.
This file is needed for the exchange.
Archive the file as ZIP and mail it to cn@eulanda.de. You should do that on
a daily base. You will receive immediately – mostly on the same day – a new
file which holds the actual translation and the new program release.
Additionally all registered translators receive the program showing the
current version for control purposes.
It is of utmost importance that the translation file is transmitted at
regular intervals, whenever possible daily.
